- Merlin shows us the Quicksilver comma trick
The ubiquitous internet gadfly, and productivity guru, Merlin Mann recently launched yet another online venture: The Merlin Show. The first five episodes have nothing to do with Apple (though they are interesting), however, the latest episode covers a TUAW favorite, Quicksilver.

I've got to say I loooove Google. My Gmail account is great, as is Google Reader, Picasa* and my Picasa web albums, Gcal and so on.
To those who have complained that Google ignores Mac users, we say that's about to change. Google chief executive Eric Schmidt stated on Monday that the two companies will be "..."doing more and more things together. We have similar goals, similar competitors."
So the Google maps features of the iPhone are only the beginning? Sweet.

Apple plans to open a new retail store this Saturday, March 9th at 10:00 AM in Austin, Texas. Apple Store The Domain (now there's an official-sounding name) is located in northwest Austin, along the MoPac Expressway at 11410 Century Oaks Terrace, near Macy's. You can find complete travel directions here.
As usual, the first 1000 visitors will be rewarded with commemorative t-shirts. Visitors can also enter to win a pile of Apple stuff, including a black 13-inch 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo MacBook, a one-year membership to ProCare, an iPod nano and more.
