    The Music Cocoon is an oddly appealing vacuum tube amp from Britain's Roth Audio. It's so ugly, it's actually attractive.

    The 26-watt system is BYOS -- Bring Your Own Speakers -- and costs $780.

    Designed for the "lovely Apple iPod," according to the maker's website, there's an iPod dock on top and plugs for other audio sources like CD and MP3 players (remember them?)
